  This kind of attitude partly accounted for the heavy defeat of the NDC. All they know is : insults, insults, insults. They would not listen to the substance of the argument & learn from it.

Railway in Ghana runs triangular in a small section of the south of the country and must be commended, what? Does this man want position or what? Where in the world where railway is huge has just a ministry for it? Does he understand and know what involves a sector ministry? Can the railway alone pay for the cost involved in the ministry? I am sorry to say that this man has mental case or for political expediency. Campaign period is over so NPP supporters must be serious. Akkufo Addo said they will be under the budget of office of the president. The best he could have done was to create a special office for the sectors like ministry for zongos? Actually, Ghanaians have got the change they want with the support of educated illiterates.

  What will be efficient for Ghana Railway now?
  The Gold Coast Colonial govt built Railway purposely to carry goods like (timber,manganese,bauxite,etc to the Takoradi port.
  90% of Ghana Railway service and revenue depends on goods therefore only 10% revenue comes from passengers.Even in Sekondi,nobody boards a train to go to Takoradi because it doesn't make any economic sense.The Train Stations are too far from the town centers.In this case only the workers train leaves Sekondi early morning for Takoradi Port.There is no regular schedule for résidents of Sekondi/Takoradi to enjoy railway traffic.Road traffic is the only best option for them,much faster and economic.
  Remember that in 2010 Ghana signed a contract of $6 billion dollars with China to construct new rail lines from Kumasi to Paga and from Tamale to Wendi.Why couldn't we do it?
  I'll tell you why,the answer is that passengers alone can't be viable for this huge investment.
  Unless we have heavy industries in all the régions where we can run effective inter-city parameters,we are just wasting our time.Thank you.

  I'm so happy our president is not trending on the path of his predecessors because that didn't yield any fruitful results. He's appointing more ministers in areas that will facilitate the achievement of his agenda of creating more jobs for the people. Railway and road development will enhance the development of more industries. It will decongest major routes and create more jobs for both the skilled and unskilled labour. KUDOS NANA.
