Mr Martin Amidu is not an ordinary person in Ghana,he's a lawyer and knows too well the implications of his statement and I believe he's ready if parliament invite him to throw light on his allegations at this stage.I remember some time back,an Npp mp for Odobeng Brakwa PC Appiah Ofori also anti corruption campaigner made similar allegations agaist his own party the Npp,he at the time became the dalling boy of the NDC then in opposition,he was hailed and mentioned in all the press conferences the NDC held before winning power in 2008.But you see,what goes around comes around but the difference is that Mr Amidu is a lawyer and a former Attoney general who knows so much,so the NDC mp,s should not jubilate just yet because if he's able to prove his allegations the NDC ll never be the same especially the mp,s involve.

Mr. Alex Kofi Agyekum, I quite agree with you that Mr. Amidu should appear before Parliament to lay bare the proof and facts of his allegation. However, one thing I would ask you to do, is to demand that the leadership of Parliament be open, fair and show restraint towards Mr. Amidu during his appearance before it, and to ask that his testament before Parliament be held in an open door setting for the public to have access to tune in and watch it in their homes. I believe you want to get the truth and so are we. It would be a great disservice and insult to our integrity if we would be unable to watch his presentation and unable to sift through the incriminating facts of his allegation against some of the parliamentarians because the leadership chose to hear Amidu's uncompromising revelation against some of the members in parliament in a closed door setting, it would be a great disservice to us and insult to our integrity. Consequently, any action by the leadership contrary to our expectation would be viewed as cover up and would increase our distrust of our elected officials and our contempt towards and dislike of them for their impeachable behaviour.
