  One reason that led to the rift between Akufo Addo and Paul Afoko was the private account that Nana together with Freddie Blay set up separate from the official NPP account. All monies from his solicitation efforts were lodged into this secret unofficial account on the blindside of the executives of the party. If Akufo Addo could not protect the party purse, how can we trust him to protect the national purse? We will scrutinise all the contracts under this new regime. By their deeds, they shall be known.

All the corruption charges that go round, has anyone come across with Nana? The things that you say are: he is arrogant, war monger, short, temperamental and what else? He is here to stay and Bawumia will take over. You will be in the opposition for at least 16 years.
  I am not sure if you can survive these years with hatred and envy as hatred is self-destruct weapon.

  Corruption in Ghana is institutional.It is enabler supported by the masses through nepotism and tribalism. Because of that no president in Ghana can protect and preserve the public purse. Not even saint Rawlings and Angel Akufo Addo can stop the menace, because they all benefit from it.Protecting the public purse is only a rhetoric coming from Angel Akufo Addo just to placate Ghanaians and make Mahama look bad.
