Well said Ama.....after getting injured playing for the black stars..Michael Essien was never the same again..he lost his position at Chelsea and now the 'bison' is struggling to stay in the teams he's been playing for.....the life span of a footballer is very short by age 30years you are deemed 'old' and teams like arsenal,Man U etc only gives you 1year contract..or pay as you play....how many lawyers or doctors are called old at 30years? And these boys are retired at this age only to live the rest of their entire life plus pension on all the money they made between the ages of 20-30 years don't forget they look after the entire family,friends etc with that money they have made any ex footballer will tell you the hardships they face after their careers are over ...Ghanaians do not look after past heroes if you don't make your money now... you live your old days as a pauper....most of these ex players who played for free are living very miserably....anyone who say these young people don't deserve their $10,000 bonus must be jailed....until MP's work for FREE...until all government workers also work for free....the players will be paid .....by the way Mr Bentil, what do you understand by your word "incentive "?.....if that word is removed what will be the point in doing anything.....
