Leaders who have been entrusted the destiny of the nation repe the nation with impunity. Reckless mismanagement of the country's economy and yet refuse to answer questions about their stewardship. Greed, selfishness, corruption, nepotism and favoritism has become the cancer of our leaders. You'll not understand this young man until you've been in his shoes. If you have no one in politics or authority then forget it and die in shame. Where's the ladder of opportunity for all? Where's the fair go for all? Where's our fair share of the national cake? I understand perfectly well that this guy is not homosexual but what choice has he got apart from lying? Yes, I have been there so empathize with him. If in your twenties and thirties one couldn't find work, is it in your fifties and sixties that you're going to find work? Ask the children selling plastic bags along the streets in our cities and they'll tell you their story. Are they second class citizens or because they're not sons and daughters of the politicians so they are sub human? Stop the criticism because in the absence of nothing, bad becomes best. Let's set our priorities right as a nation and remember that the sons and daughters of the poor are also human beings and are worthy of something good.

Life of the average Ghanaian abroad is like the Kayaye, Trokosi kitchen stool sellers and Kookoase shoeshine boy hawking in the streets of Accra and Kumasi. No life. For instance, the life of most Ghanaians living in New York, The Bronx to be specific, are so so horrible. Their closest companions are rats, as most Americans refer to mouse. Almost all the 18th century apartments are roaches or VW (t3fr3) infested. One may be deceived by what you see on the street but, trust me, inside of the plastered atakwami-like buildings are very despicable. Rotten rubber balls they call fufuo are found littered in garbage bags on elevators and in stair ways. The number of homeless Ghanaians in the Bronx is overwhelming. They slrwp in stairways during the Winter and on rooftops in the Summer. Very pathertic andnasty. People are so depressed that they just don't care about what is around them. My advice my belove brothers, especially Brongs and my Asante-Kookoase half cousins is that, instead of spending 10 or 20 thousand dollars to secure visa to the US, I will recommend that you spend that money in, say, cocoa farming. It will be difficult at the start but trust me you will be the happiest man after some 6-years there on. Life in Abrokyire is so tough. For me, the only thing I pride myself i, in the US, is my dear wife and kids. At least the kids have better quality education than the Trokosi designed JSS/SSS that Rawlings and his Trokosi Nationalist( Awonoo and co) prescribed for Ghanaians after the good old standard-seven days. Home sweet home and me thinks we have to brighten our own corner. Let us eschew the institutional corruption, both in government an in public life. The blame will be squarely placed on the heads of both me and you so why don't we change our attitude,now that the greedy buffoons are no more in power.
