  Even as government struggles to provide feeding grants, some unscrupulous Headmasters have a field day, conniving with their School Bursars to steal these funds, thru sole sourcing and over-inflated contracts for the supply of food and other supplies to the schools.
  At Dzodze-Penyi Secondary School, in the Ketu North District of the Volta Region, the recently retired Headmaster connived with the Bursar to steal scarce feeding grants, such that the Headmaster was able to build a mansion near the School, within record time. The Bursar, with the connivance of the Headmaster and GES authorities in Ho and Accra have transferred the Bursar to another school north of the Region. The Governing Board members of the school were also compromised by the Headmaster to remain passive to the stealing spree.
  We appeal to the new Minister of Education, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to investigate asap how feeding grants have been used over the tenure of the last Headmaster who also built another mansion in Ho in record time.
