  The so-called Council of State was, perhaps, necessary back in 1992 when the empty-headed murderer, Jerry Rawlings, imposed himself on Ghana. Knowing very well he had no idea of his own, and that he needed some people to advice him, the council membership was made somewhat official and given a name, just so they could be paid. It was also job the old sycophants from the PNDC era who should just have been told to go home and rest - Mary Grant, Kojo Tsikata (the murderer, etc). This useless body has nothing to do under any serious government in Ghana.
