Any genuine person knows when a gift is genuine and when it is not. Not accepting a gift does not mean that the person does not do people favours when they are needed. But refusing to accept gifts arbitrarily puts one on top of one's actions: one feels no regrets for being able/unable to do something for someone at any particular time. In fact it makes one enjoy doing acts of kindness for others.
I am speaking from experience. I can give a c couple of examples: I will leave it until another time, but it is the truth. It is more blessed to give than to receive.

If my party membership is full of fantes,ewes gas etc they will be appointed, as a party cannot cross over to an opposition party and appointment them into their office. Get used to it. Check Mahama's government, how many Adams were in top position? Leave His excellency alone. He is in power let him rule. Please.

Yes, everyone receives gifts but this gift was offered when he was elected president and gifts to people in position of trust can be quite dangerous because it's usually done to get a favour in return that's why we are all applauding the president. If someone gives that gift to a poor person, or a person who has no job we won't see anything wrong with it because the person is not in a position of trust. Mr MP. I think its better to keep quiet if you have nothing to say than talk rubbish and show the world how unwise you are.
