  Having a party chairman in the person of Kofi Portuphy is very sad. The man is too daft. He is too clumsy to lead a political party. He is too thuggish with a vagabond mentality. He has no morals and I questioned those who gave the chairmanship position to such a leery creature.
  
  He had soon forgotten what he and his goon squad did when Mills was elected president. Wonders, they say, will never end. We should all condemn such barbaric act and at the same time, the police should be up to the task to arrest anyone who go against the law.

  It is about time political parties understood the position of government once in power. The government should serve the interest of all citizens by carrying out the manifesto that brought it to power. Part of that duty is upholding the rule of law and pursuing economic and social objectives in fairness to all. Needless to say it relies on the security services and the government machinery to achieve these objectives. It is expected that government institutions act to support government policies apolitically. The likes of Kofi Portuphy don't seem to understand that the political party is only a means of organizing to attain power and it is not the government and should not be part of the machinery for administering the country. Unfortunately, for reasons of greed people like him do not understand that even if they sponsored the government it can't serve or only meet their interests. And this is the real reason why they lost so badly in spite all the deception. In an honest administration party affiliation should not matter. The bitterness against the NPP must stop. NDC must recognize that they lost the elections because the greed and misrule was too glaring and there was no way they would retain power in free and fair elections.

  So Portuphy should let it sink in NPP is not going to share power in the administration of Ghana. Where have I heard this share power thing before? Oh I remember. It was a popular refrain of Koku that Akufo Addo wanted to share power and he will lose because of massive infrastructure development. Does Portuphy and Asiedu Nketia and Koku remember?
  NPP is not going to be governing this country with corrupt, incompetent, inept, thieves present in that NDC party at 100%. We remember the words of your Founder during your congress after he asked if you all were stupid by bringing in more thieves after they had tried to get rid of about 40% of the thieves in that your party.
  So Portuphy should get it very clear. If by unifying or the lack thereof, he is implying NPP should accommodate the 100% NDC thieves who are as incompetent, corrupt and inept as anything can be, he should forget it. It won't happen. There is no violence anywhere. You lost and instead of crying wolf where there is none, it will be better to heed the call of your angry footsoldiers and step aside as they are demanding of you and leave NPP out of your issues.
