Earlier reports in the no says it was a knee problem and now same ghanaweb is reporting of a hamstring. Pele let us know the actual problem. We need him greatly cos his absence was felt greatly. Thanks

It is a bad knee injury. He may be out for a while. Possibly need surgery to repair the torn ACL. Sorry sorry sorry

We pray for Rahman. If, as some have indicated, he did tear up his ACL, then he may not be able to play the rest of the season. Rahman is Chelsea's on-loan player at Schalke. His contract with Chelsea FC is worth over $21 million. Going by the way the GFA has treated injured Ghanaian player, Rahman would have to rely on Schalke and Chelsea for his treatment and recovery. GFA would not even do the basic thing of providing insurance for the players against injury and other catastrophes whenever they are on national assignment. These young men risk their careers by playing for the nation. GFA is yet to understand that the players need basic protection and guarantee that in the event of a career ending injury, they and their families would be resourced to sustain their living standards.
