  Bloodshed for what? Whose bidding are these West African countries serving? I am sure it is not the Gambians. Killing Gambians will make the new President unpopular.

  ECOWAS countries just want their western finaciers to know that they believe in good governance and democracy.They are only playing to the gallery.They bullied Jammeh because Gambia is a small nation with a small, weak army.Why did they not go to the Ovory Coast to remove Gbagbo?Or will they invade Nigeria if Buhari decides not to leave office?Ecowas has now become a bully 'father'.
