  It s the most uselees body in Ghana and must be abolished.It is a waste of tax payers money.Their only achievement last year was to help release those Montie 3 fools from prison.

  I believe the council of state should have retired heads of constitutional bodies (already appointed by a President) such as CHRAJ, EC. NCCE, Media Commission, the Judicial Service (Chief Justice) and the Parliamentary Service (Clerk of Parliament) and representation from the Regional House of Chiefs, and retired Presidents of Professional Bodies, and Chairpersons of religious bodies. Politicians from the ruling party already have access to the sitting President and therefore don't need to be there to speak to the President, neither does the opposition

  Whoever required the Council of State to be impartial. The president can appoint the people he thinks can advise him based on the programs, concepts and promises on which he campaigned. You can't bring an NDC man to advise Ak ...

  Whoever required the Council of State to be impartial. The president can appoint the people he thinks can advise him based on the programs, concepts and promises on which he campaigned. You can't bring an NDC man to advise Akufo Addo on his campaign promises. If you want an impartial body, then you can call for a second chamber of parliament. However, I agree with you the Council of State, as exists now, is completely useless.
