Cheap things are costly. Now many school leavers cannot get the chance to train. Serves Ghanaians right!!!

When I said on this forum that JM caused the problem I was misunderstood and insulted. Gov gave congent reasons for removal of allowances, i.e. , access to enable more School leaders to be trained but most Ghanaians because of poverty thought otherwise. JM should have agreed and reduce intake to enable him pay allowances. I said that some of those in training would not have been there but for JM's open door policy of accessibility. Now school leaders should brace themselves for poverty cos they will not get admission because of quota system. Go do labourer work or security job somewhere, Dan niama. Only few lucky ones will get admission in Nursing and Teacher training. For the next four years few will be able to go for their life's ambition as teachers or nurses.

Go to farming because we have promise one village one dam. So that we boost up the agriculture sector. The rest of the allowa will go to one district, one factory. Stupid and foolish people, you want everything free. You want allowa and Diploma certificate, what about Poly students who are also reading Diploma courses and paying school fees. Simply put go and pay school fees, stupid people .Next time think twice. Greetings to you all.

I am a senior nursing lecturer and wish to share this. Some 2 years ago, NDC established Health Training Institute Secretariat. The object was to monitor and regulate ALL health training institutions, including nursing training schools.

Being a lecturer and quite close to administration, I can say without a shred of doubt that HTI has other motives and clandestine activities that might not be known by the current Govt.

Through its activities, the secretariat had been one of the key financier of the NDC party.

The current boss of HTI, in the person of Christopher Bayere, is a strong NDC member. Every year, he communicates with all health training institutions as to the number of student the school can admit.

In my school, he normally communicates 100 students as the total students to be admitted. Thereafter, my principal goes back to negotiate for an increase in the number. We normally end up admitting 500 students. The extra 400 students are admitted as 'protocol students'. They need to pay before they are admitted.

The monies accrued is sent to the HTI boss, Christopher. I am reliably informed that this happens in all the health training colleges.

This had been a key source of financing the now opposition party. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the secretariat, the current Govt is likely to overlook it and allow this NDC man to occupy that seat.

A colleague told me HTI boss feels he will be removed, so he is likely going to sell nursing forms quite early this year. The forms are normally sold in March, earliest will be in February ending. Now the forms are out.

There are a lot I can't share here. But I know there are people on this platform who are connected to authorities. The HTI secretariat is a political seat. They make money than passport office, NHIS and any other office you can think of.

When Nana Addo was outside presidential administration, he thought becoming a president and ruling a country is found on the silver platter; he thought the economy has a bad status when he was at the outer - core of ruling, and now has realized it is worse than he thought because he's now in the inner - core of ruling. imagine if he gets to the inner - most - core, what will be the fate?
