Everybody in Ghana here know that the sarfo maafos are from Akyem awisa in the eastern region but Dr. Kwakye maafo, Snr brother to sarfo maafo is now the chief of Assin nsuta in the central region. He is no where near the royal bloodline but he used his influence and money to bully the rightful owners of the stool of assin nsuta and even threatened the apparent heir to the throne and he went to exile. What Kwaakye maafo does best in that little village is selling of the stool lands for his own gain.I wish a journalist on this platform would pick this up and do more investigation so that the stool will be restored to the rightful owners so that this abuse of power in our society will be dealt with.

Why would the Mahama admin,which had frozen public sector recruitment for so long, suddenly want to employ so many people? Public sector employment is not done on a whim. It is a process which takes time. The Mahama admin had to recruit teachers and other staff for the community day secondary schools, hospitals, airports, harbours, water works etc it had built.

Did the NPP admin want this to be left to them so they could recruit their party supporters?

How can a gov't promising job creation lay off workers who have got jobs?

You are right on one matter - We are talking about enterprise Ghana. Will you run your own business like John Mahama did in December? The new govt has the good will of ghanaians and the earlier those last minute appointees are sacked, the better. They should pay them any retirement benefits and that is all. Once those sacked are compensated inline with our labour laws, the issue of judgement debt will never crop up.
