Or lets put it this way "What defines a successful coach to you?" Its like you blame the coach for everything, even when Gyan misses a penalty, as if it was the coach who kicked the penalty. You need to be realistic okay.

The problem is with picking the countries hosting the tournament. One of the first conditions for picking the host country must surely have been the condition of the pitches. Players may seriously consider refusing to take part in the future if they fear long term injury due to terrible pitches. So how come Gabon could not get their pitches in pristine condition before the tournament? Why were they selected as hosts if the pitches were not up to scratch? AFCON is now a tournament highly recognised by the whole football world now. This thing is being screened live on Eurosport in the UK. Let's put our house in order and make sure the prospective host for 2019 are well funded, well prepared to enable them at least provide the teams with world class pitches for the games. Africa wants to be considered big but we still fail to measure up to the required standards.
