It seems that Ghana is the only country in the world whose Ministers are vetted by Parliament. I think that it would be more appropriate for parliament to approve ministerial appointments upon receipt of RICH or POOR CVS together with 2 page essay on
1) My ROLE as a Minister 2) My DUTY as a Minister. In this respect, Parliament will avoid asking unnecessary questions such as ;; are you married etc.

For your ignorance and that of others,in America the ministers or what they call secretaries and other important positions that require vetting go through Senate vetting but through various committees that are responsible for those departments.

To P Djambe,there is nothing WRON if a president cannot write his own speech, president generally don't write their own speech,that is the normal practice,that is why we have speech writers who write speeches for the president.

As for Ntiwul, I don't blame him but in the first place, the president for appointing him to that all important position for a clueless person like him to head, he and Esiama are the most useless appointments so far, he in particular is not qualify to be even a deputy in that ministry leg alone the substantive minister.

That parliament,the least said about it the better, no doubt they did not ask him questions,he is a member of that useless committee with Adjoa Sarfo behaving like a village girl talking while others are asking questions, interrupting others,very backward, a disgrace to that parliament.

How many nominees do you know who have been turned away by the vetting process? The whole process is an unnecessary routine. If the people who are vetting, some of whom have nothing at all on their CVs, come round to waste time on CVs, what are we in for?
So, my friend, do not be too pompous for having spent only 30 minutes at the vetting.Can't you see that the panel were tired after the multiple marathons with the other nominees? Just give us a break. Do not be like them! You know whom?
