Very soon , many Ghanaians are going to get sick. The chemicals used to process the gold can cause birth defects, many forms of cancer and other diseases. I don't know why the government keeps issuing certificates for mining. Surface mining comes with hazards to the health of the community and the environment. The Akufo-Addo government must do something about it.
