Individually, the Black Stars do well in their respective clubs. Amartey, Partey, Ayew, Jordan, John Boye, Atsu and almost all of them are world class footballers. The problem we have is that, they don't get enough time to practice together as a team. Therefore, there is no coordination or team work. They are not able to understand the signals or the minds of their team mates and cannot work together. And that is why most of the time, great scoring chances are lost. That is where the coach comes in; the need for practice together becomes paramount.
Avram Grant, literally does not live in Ghana even though he coaches the Black Stars. He waits until last minute to bring them together on the field. How do you expect them know or understand the team playing technique? Even if he chooses, a particular playing format: eg. 4-2-4 or 4-4-2 or whatever, they will not be able to coordinate their play.
Ayew is right. They need rehearsal.

As much as I want the Stars to beat Pharoahs,it will be better to try some of the players on the bench like what Senegal did yesterday. This will give the regular players some time to rest.Don't worry be happy.

We are playing Morroco in the quarter finals. I prefer them to the Ivorians as they seem to have a psychological urge over us stemming from Alcon 2015. Morocco don't have such an urge. They are hasslers who press high up the field to force opponents to hurry their passes. But we are better than them player for player as well as technicality. There is a little problem though, their coach Renard. He always seems to beat us, remember Zambia v Ghana and two years ago in the Afcon finals? He appears to be a damn good coach. Well we have to beat him this time. Avam Grant has his work cut out. We don't have a choice but to find a way to prevail against them. Go Ghana.

You better beat or draw, and win the group to avoid DR Congo.
Two of the so-called favorites, Ivory Coast and Algeria did not make it out of the group stage. Ghana's chances made a bit brighter.
