If the Judge thinks revealing his identity will put his right to a fair trial, we also expect justice for Lily. If the Judge thinks revealing his identity risks endangering his life, the Judge should reflect on the fact he has shot and killed Lily.

We know him! We know his family! We know where they live! Why the secrecy?

If you don't know the rules and procedure governing the trial of a juvenile please ask to be schooled instead of insulting the judge. In juvenile trial the accused is protected by the laws. Even the police prosecutor is not a ...

If you don't know the rules and procedure governing the trial of a juvenile please ask to be schooled instead of insulting the judge. In juvenile trial the accused is protected by the laws. Even the police prosecutor is not allowed by the laws to be in police uniform. The trial is also held in camera. Meaning no one is permitted in the court room apart from the prosecutor and the lawyers. Sometimes it is even held in the judge's chambers. Please be schooled.

People should understand the laws before commenting. Ages 17 and below are considered juvenile and trial at court follows a different procedure. At this stage the police continue to gather evidence. Finally the AG will advice ...

People should understand the laws before commenting. Ages 17 and below are considered juvenile and trial at court follows a different procedure. At this stage the police continue to gather evidence. Finally the AG will advice whether the young man can be tried as an adult, based on his past, the severity of the case or whether he has had brushes with the law and the severity and intensity of the crime and factors contributing to it. Based on AG recommendation the boy can be committed to be institutionalized at a juvenile facility or tried as an adult. The judge is within his limits for ordering protection of the boy who is a juvenile, until the AG advises otherwise. Please stop making idiotic and inflammatory comments.

In fact, conscienceless Judges abound in this country of ours called Ghana. We all saw the hue and cry of our judges when some three of their colleagues were murdered in the 80s. But their reactions are quite different when the children, fathers and mothers of powerless people are killed with remorseless cruelty. For many years, it has been my desire to see a judge's home attacked, the judge and his wife beaten up, his or her only daughter raped, their jewelry and unspecified amount of money forcibly stolen under gun point, and their only male child beaten up and shot to death, so we can see the reaction of the judges.
