Ghana will not die if some of these high cost celebrations, with relatively low cost benefits, are suspended for the well being and betterment of its citizenry. Sacrifice is the word here. Our leaders sometimes behave like pigs. What will happen if the monies that will go into this year's independence celebration is diverted into building toilets facilities for, say, the 3-Northern regions which have come under fire for open defecation in recent times? What sort of brains do we have in the leaders of the Black Continent? Our people are suffering but our brainless leaders, who wants to be treated as kings, will engage in non-productive and no-profit ventures which do not solve bread and butter issues but rather make some stupid politicians millionaires overnight. Even chicken care for their chick's , but not these self seeking dummies we always choose as our leaders. Let Akufo Addo prove me wrong by setting the examples in his 4-year term ahead on him. We need toilets, we are tired!
