In 2016 the newly elected President of Tanzania didn't see it fit and proper to celebrate 54 years of independence from Britain and cancelled the multi millon dollar celebrations. There's a lesson in this for Akufo Addo. Also last year Jamaica independence day celebration in Handsworth Park in London was hit by the non-appearance of Jamaican citizens in the UK who deemed the event wasteful. A lesson for Ghanaians; if we stop patronising these money wasting ventures our governments will take note. If the country is broke as we're being told why embark on this egoistical journey? Why celebrate the birthday of someone on their sick bed if it is not for your own ego inflating reasons. The president can beat his chest one day and say under his governance the celebrations took place but to what end?

Like some of the comments here, the President seem to be overwhelmed with more over qualified candidates for all the ministerial positions. I will suggest you lobby for MUSIGA Presidency through Nana's Executive orders. Start small and make a mark.
