Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. Ayariga, if in did thought the monies given to them were from Parliament since the Chairman of the Appointments Committee had earlier informed them on their allowances, should have, when the rumors were going round where it came from, should have at their next sitting, taken the monies to their next sitting as evidence and confronted the Chairman if the amount received was from him and if indeed it was their sitting allowances in the full glare of the TV camera's. This is all noise that they are making, fact is even criminals caught in the act, are advised by their lawyers to plead not guilty. This is indefensible anywhere.

You see people like you should be very grateful to Nana Akuffo Addo who fought relentlessly to strike down the Criminal Libel Law in the Ghanaian constitution and the tremendous amount of the freedom of speech you are enjoying in Ghana. I have lived in the US for most of my adult life but l can bet you that some of the things that you people say on the social media with impunity can never be done here because like Americans say that "freedom is not free " dud .

The Ayariga guy is trying to undermine your role as the Chairman of the Appointments Committee for the work you are doing in preventing silliness in the vetting of the Minister designates and it must be severely, severely dealt with.
Every available means to severely deal with such silly act must be employed to deal with such silliness from Ayariga, including voting him off the committee if it is possible.
And at all cost stamp your authority during the process and deal with any silliness from any NDC member on the committee in the vetting of the minister designates yet to come before the committee.
Having done that, the other legal remedies available to deal with Ayariga's buffoonery must be pursued to the very end and if it is confirmed Boakye Agyarko to have acted or misconducted himself, he must be firmly dealt with per the dictates of the law concerning bribery of officials, because it is a very serious matter. On the other hand, if it is confirmed nothing of the nature Ayariga put out there occurred, he must be made the hugest scapegoat under since the coming into effect of the 1992 Constitution in terms of punishment.

Nonetheless, according to Muntaka, " he told his minority committee members they were not going to accept money from anyone".
I smell foul here.It seems to me it is normal practice for NDC appointee- delegates to hand over money to committee members to endorse their appointments.
This whole thing needs a parliamentary enquiry.Ayariga may have made it up this time.It could not have been something way out of the blue!
