  I hate and despised the way Ghanaians criticise and even insult our players who are putting the interest and glory of Ghana ahead of their carriers. Some players carriers has been cut short wearing the national colors, fighting to bring glory to our country. It is time we start behaving as civilized society. We need to lift our heroes up when they are down, pat them on the back, encourage them and assure them that we cherish and appreciate them no matter what. Nobody feels the pain more than those guys when they loose, and it is wickedness on our part to pounce on them in their moment of pain. To me, those guys will always be my heroes, win or lose. I appreciate them when they win, I also appreciate them more when they loose because I believe they give out their best. Most of those fools who keep castigating them wouldn't do what those guys are doing for the country.

  The fact is, you don't have to be "certified" for anybody to call you a fool. The boys should suck it up, shut up and go play the game. Even players from the world cup winning countries have been criticized or treated worse.

  You seem to be missing the point here. Constructive criticism based on facts and figures happens everywhere. No one is questioning that. What we are talking about is the baseless, unjustifiable attack, insult and ridicule that is directed at our players. Don't tell me that is justifiable. People criticise Rooney, CR7 and Messi, but no one insults them the way Ghanaian fans do their players. Can you tell us what Braima for instance has done to warrant the attack on him? Don't think so. The fact that you are representing your country in a discipline does not give any one the right to unjustifiably vilify you. Get a grip.
