You remember this same Ayariga was the deputy to Betty Mould Iddrissu. When Auntie Batty had a challenge with the Woyome Saga, Mahama Ayariga was very happy and immediately the lady was asked to step aside Ayariga became the defacto winner. Between the time the woman stepped aside and a new substantive minister was appointed, Mahama Ayariga awarded 98 school building contract at five times the contract price and he brought contractors from his native Bawku to execute the contracts. In one instance, the situation was so embarrassing that people started wondering whether Ayariga is a normal human being. Here is a case when Ayariga approached the head of a Catholic SHS in the Upper East Region and informed her to make available land for the building of a new six classroom block. Upon further scrutinity the school administration realised such facilities are meant for primary schools and so politely turned down the request since the school had a well defined plan. Guess what Ayariga did? He immediately contacted Mark Woyongo, who was then the Regional Minister and a native of that town, to force the headmistress to accept the primary school compound in a secondary school. He then brought contractors from his native Bawku to execute the project and six months after the completion of the project the building started developing cracks and now the building has become a death trap. Mahama Ayariga is a thief and every thief is a liar. This is the Mahama Ayariga who is making false allegation against a noble man like Boakye Agyarko.

Osafo Marfo and Agyarko was asked by the committee to bring a documents to support their claim after their first hearing. Agyarko was not able to bring all the prove and therefore has to come out to withdraw some of his claims at the second hearing.This will bring shame to him and the party he stand for so they have to bribe the other side to cool down. This is the whole story.

Did y'all know why he is pleading on the speaker to allow him to sue that tractor thief Ayariga? That is because per the standing orders of the house and their rules, a sitting member of the house cant be served with a law suit unless it is served through the speaker and he grants it, so why the attack on the person whose reputation has been soiled by a called lawyer who dabbles in hearsay without providing any shred of evidence to back his wild claim of corrupt acts on the part of the chairman of the appointments committee. My advice to folks who only come here to insult people is to spend little time and read about issues they wanna comment on to get a deeper understanding of the issues.

I was shocked to see the way Parliament has cleverly gone round the core issues of this case and rather set out on a tangent which conclusion is already determined. Ayariga and co never alleged that they know for a fact that Hon. Osei Wusu collected the money and handed it over. What they said was that their leader, Muntaka, told them it came from he Oser-Wusu with the information that it is coming from Agyarko. That is different. It means that if anything at all, the focus has to be on whether or not bribe was paid, not whether or not he Osei Wusu received money. In order words, the payment of a bribe to influence the work of Parliament is more important, than who receives the money. What is going to happen is that since in all likelihood no one saw Osei Wusu receive the money, the report will exonerate him and then be inconclusive on the key issue of whether or not a bribe was paid.

If anybody wants to sue a sitting MP in a civilian court, permission has to be sort, and granted by the Speaker of Parliament; that is the RULE of ENGAGEMENT which has been established.
