We need to pass the necessary legislation because when they start Ghanaians would import used or second self driving cars into the country.

Talk, talk about making Ghana great again, isn't this ironic?! Who truncated the economic and industrial progress of Ghana in 1966. Was it not your patapa Mate Meho forebears who wrecked Ghana for a bowl of wheat? Stop whining and work.

Now Agya Addo, how does it feel being in Addis Ababa the capital of Ethiopia? This is a country that was on the brink of starvation in the early 80's and went through wars in the 90's.

The Ethiopians have been able to sell coffee and flowers to build a sprawling city. They became flower exporters from zero to number two to Kenya in Africa. The Ethiopian airlines is now the number one in Africa overtaking South Africa. They now have the best aviation training school on the continent. They enjoy investment boost in FDI (Foreign Direct Investment)and it is investors favourite on the continent.

The Bole airport is being expanded at a lower cost than KIA. The new beautiful city rail that runs east-west, north-south is the first in sub-Sahara, it passes beside the iconic yellow bank building near a place called Mexico. Their 800km double track railways to Djibouti is mouthwatering. The city of Addis Ababa has ICT park and industrial parks surrounding it and in between several condominiums as far the eyes can see. Their three lanes 100km express highway to Nazareth intercepted by inland Mojo harbour is breathtaking. Dotted along side are wind turbines and solar panels for green energy. Ethiopia now sells 800 mega watts of energy to Uganda and Tanzania. These are great feats and must be applauded. When the renaissance dam is completed in 3 years it will generate over 10,000mw of energy. This is a country on a forward march. The late leader Meles who was the architect of modern Ethiopia has his playbook from Kwame Nkrumah. Kwame Nkrumah stands tall in the fore court of the new AU headquarters in Addis Ababa.

Want more?! Gated communities of high class and the newly built high rise real estate in a place called Summit to symbolize they are reaching for the summit has a wow effect. The city of rose flowers after which Addis Ababa was named has come out from the ashes not by talking but by the will of the leaders to make a genuine change. Ghana can also make it if our leaders are not stomach led. How can a small country like Ghana which has more resources than Ethiopia fall behind? Our population of 25 million is just a quarter of that of Ethiopia's nearly 100 million. When we have one problem they have four at hand but they have managed to emerge from years of doldrums. Admittedly, there is more to be done in Ethiopia but by any measure they have done well if not better than Ghana if one acknowledges where they came from.

With the right people in place in an all-inclusive Ghana, our nation can do better. God bless our homeland Ghana.

Nana Addo could have been more diplomatic in his choice of words. It would be better to say mistakes are inevitable but I will do my best to avoid them.
