They only brought it back because some people outside the NDC minority got to know about it and they feared it was going to become a public knowledge that is why they beat a retreat and sent it back to Muntaka if we have to believe Mahama Ayariga.

The question we need to ask is this; Is it the way Parliamentary allowances are paid, I mean by cash in an envelope without anybody signing for it? Is it not supposed to be by check or direct deposit into their accounts?

If these people really received the money, they knew it was a bribe and should not have taken it home for at least a day or two before returning it.

If they wanted to keep an evidence, they should ave at least have a documented evidence from Muntaka when they returned it.
