  A day is just around the corner, when all those who have enriched themselves in Ghana at the expense our political nuisance will face untold repercussions and such that the Acheampong era will be child's play.

  This is a straight-forward matter! The law governing National Service is so clear in black-and-white terms that even a no-intelligent man in the street should understand it! There is absolutely no grey area ambiguity about it! You don't do national service, you are not qualified to be employed either in the state or private sector unless you have been exempted by the National Service authorities!
  
  If some people have not done the national service and have sort of gotten away with it, that in no way makes the law unclear or ambiguous in its meaning!
  
  If in the obviously politically tainted view of that lecturer, the Minority is making a fuss over the issue, then it is good and proper that they are doing so for what they are doing is right, legally and morally!
  
  That woman's nomination must not pass for her to become a minister of state not only because she did not do national service but also, more importantly, because the law of the land states so! It will an act of lawlessness, if not an illegality, for Parliament to approve of her nomination!
  
  The issue is not about her past insolent remarks about the former president; nor is it about her refusal to apologise for those remarks! It is not even about whether she possesses the competence for the job or not! It is a straight-forward case of the rule of law! We cannot be serious a people and a polity if we don't enforce our laws or enforce them selectively!
