Historical data twisted here please. Patrice Lumumba was a patriot and nationalist whilst Mobutu was an imperialist agent. Dr Nkrumah was employed by the Danquah's to work for them and not for mother, Ghana. Some one will be insulting the entire 70% who voted for Dr Nkrumah whilst he was in prison to become the first Prime Minister. Dr Nkrumah simply refused to tow the lines of oligarchy being proposed by his seeming employers. It was never usurping, it was plain democracy at work. When the Osagyefo was in the whiteman's prison, there was conduct alluding to having him murdered in prison by some of his employers.

Ghana and the Legal system passed death sentence on Dr J.B.Danquah. It was Dr Nkrumah who commuted the death sentence to life imprisonment. The Busia-Danquah capitalism and Dr Nkrumah's socialism is what separates the two. In poor post colonial Ghana, poverty of the natives was the norm. Common sense dictates that Socialism will win each time. Time after time.

The question if Dr J.B Danquah and co had not commenced the movement, would Dr Nkrumah have had a platform? It is a very silly question not deserving an answer. Something must start somehow from somewhere. Have you paused to think if only your mum had refused your dad sex on the day, would you have been born? There have been several such refusals and willingness not commuted. But nonetheless, it was Dr Danquah and co who sent delegates to Queen Elizabeth of Gt. Britain to delay the Independence of Ghana. Is this nationalism? This was after their combined might has failed against the young pretender. INDEPENDENCE NOW were Dr Nkrumah's historic MESSAGE TO her Majesty, the Queen of England.

There were several threats to kill the Osagyefo. Was he paranoid schizophrenic or were the threats real? Again, the people of Ghana and the legal system sentenced Dr J.B. Danquah to death. Not the Osagyefo.

In His Excellency Dr Nana Akuffo Addo his Manifestos are mainly Socialist strands and we wish him well. Ghana lost a great Nkrumahist in His Excellency ex-President John Dramani Mahama. The socialist manifestos: Free SHS, NHIS, state sponsored Dams in villages and state sponsored factories in all Districts of His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo were appealing. Dr Nkrumah has not been shamed and sincerely speaking, Dr Danquah will be turning in his grave as the saying goes. Long live his reign.

The struggle for Self Government and the formation of what is now called "Political Party" today,started from the Central Region, named "Aborigine Protection Society" then. Later about three or four other Societies were formed by other Scholars in the Central Region,before Ofori-Atta, Busia,Danquah,Domo came about in Akim,Ashanti area.In course of time,these different groups with a Common Aim came together under one umbrella to Form the "United Gold Coast Convention(UGCC).Faced by meeting that yielded no Clues to the way forward,Arko-Adjei hinted he knew a very dynamic person in whom he Arko-Adjei believed could help propell the Party forward to achieve "Self Rule".Arrangements were made to Sail Kwame Nkrumah back to the Gold Coast.And listening to him ,assigned the position of Party General Secretary, and accommodated at Salpond,near Cape Coast in the Central Region, with a Fante Merchant and Financier from the inception of the Aborigine Protection Society era, to take care of Nkrumah's welfare. Aside from the few Educated,folks didn't generally understand what that "Self Govt" as it was then described was about,either than "they said we shall manage our own affairs"; but how, majority of the people had no idea. Therefore attendance were not encouraging or poor.All that changed within days,as people flock to meeting to have glimpse of Nkrumah's dynamism, inspirational and powerful Speeches on sensitization trail, and his mere simplcity presence Convinced his audience of the determination of anxious moments to 'Self Rule'. Soon the name Kwame Nkrumah became a household name in every corner of the Country,etc,etc.It happened that whilst Danquah advocates on unyielding dialogue approach of "Self Govt Step by Step", Nkrumah talked of "Positive Action: Self Govt Now!". Therefore, when Nkrumah realized conflicting strategy to wrestled power from the Colonialist on account of his suspicion and the fact that,"Self Govt Step by Step would derailed and delay the process to achiving the ultimate Aim of Self Govt or Independence and therefore,not the aproperate way forward to achieved "Self Govt" in the Shortest possible time. Therefore, Nkrumah resigned to Formed the Convention Peoples Party(CPP).Arko-Adjei,Kojo Botsio and one or two other persons out of the "Big Six" joined Nkrumah's Camp.And the Ashanti/ Akim Caucus,"UP" was also formed. The Colonial admin was adamant to move the demand of the Gold Coast people for Self Govt forward.So Nkrumah and his CPP supporters next line of action to force issues was a protest of Positive Action, public disobedience, and looting.As a result, Nkrumah and some of his henchmen were arrested and put in Jail.But the action yeilded the anticipated result,as it prompted the Colonial govt to hold a Referendum to Test the readiness of the people to Self Govt.Nkrumah was in Jail but won a landslide Victory between himself and Danquah on 2 occassions.which eventually lead to his release and invitation to the Christianborg Castle, OSU,and put in charge of Govt Business, etc, etc. Danquah traveled to England to inform the British Govt that, the Gold Coast was not ready to Rule itself therefore, the independent of the Gold Coast should not be granted. But like the Bibical Story "what is written is written".Danquah's unsolicited advise was not heeded by the Powers that be (British Govt)Just as in recent times, Kwabena Agyapong former G/Secre and the NPP took Ghana's Voter Register Saga to the Colonial Masters, to no avail.So, eventually, Independence was granted for Dr Kwame Nkrumah to Form his Govt to become the first President of Gold Coast;changed to Ghana,in the night of March 6 1957.........................................................

Captalist ideology(property acquisition party).That was the Cold War era between the West and the East.The Eastern European Communist Socialism collapsed when Gorbachev was the President of Russia, Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister of Britain and Roland Reagan was the President of America....Again these ideological difference between Dr Nkrumah and the UP(Danquah Caucus)fuelled the struggle for power by the Opposition Caucus(Danquah, Busia,Ofori-Atta,etc)
So, they resorted to eliminate Osagyfo Dr Kwame Nkrumah dead or alive by any or every means possible. The rest is history.Therefore,Nkrumah did nothing wrong against Danquah. Nkrumah never believed the intelligence report when Danquah was arrested for espionage. Therefore, Nkrumah ordered his release within a short time.Again, intelligence report showed Danquah was in Subversive maneuvers and an Agent to the CIA.So Danquah was arrested for the 2nd time and put in Jail.Danquah played his part in the Country's political Struggle for "Self Government". Nkrumah never attempted to do him any harm as some disgrunled relatives want us to believe. They(ma te meho) rather were the Saboteurs to Nkrumah's govt and finally Succeeded with the help of the CIA to overthrow Nkrumah's govt,when Nkrumah was tricked to Settled a dispute in Hanoi; which turned out to be Hanoi of no return!.The Ma te meho gives the impression as if Nkrumah cut short Danquah's dreams.That is far from the truth.Danquah was paid in his own Coin.This is the Plain Truth.

If that tradition had not masterminded the Ghana Armed Forces led by bad soldiers like EK Kotoka and Akwesi Afrifa to stage the bloodiest coup d'état on 24 the february 1966, Ghana would have been one of the best and advanced countries in the whole wide world. The Busia-Danquah tradition came in and destroyed all the good and monumental things he was doing for mother Ghana. Instead, this bloody and wicked tradition only came in destroyed everything, deported our fellow nigerian brothers and sisters from Ghana and looted their hard won properties. In carrying out their wicked and demonic actions against the Nigerians most of them died whilst on their way to Nigeria by road but we live everything to god.
