Where on earth are Ghanaian players who are better than this team? This is the best we have. The problem is that our current players are average and the reason why they are on benches in their clubs. All of them play like they are robots. They don't use their brains one bit. All they do is running around hoping the ball goes into the net somehow as well as counting on the failure of the opponent to score. They can't win any competitive match by just dwelling on luck, penalty and nonsense like that. A team with such average players can only a trophy when the coaching and management are really good. Grant just doesn't have what it takes. And forget about this GFA. We should say bye to Grant and kick out this GFA too to have any hope.

Isaac Cofie, Kwadwo Asamoah, Alfred Duncan and Godfred Donsah play week in and week in and week out in Series A. Timothy Fosu-Mensah plays for Man U. Don't forget Waris who is in blistering for Lorient in Ligue 1. I could name so many more. We didn't not tap in to half the talent that Ghana has. Its a real shame.

Let's clarify something. Inaki Williams, Gideon Jung and Timithy Fosu-Mensah aren't Ghanaians. There're a lot of hurdles to jump in order to get them to play for us so don't count them yet. I can also categorically say that Alfred Duncan, Godfred Donsah and Isaac Cofie are also average players, just like Acquah, Badu, Partey and Wakaso. It will require a really good coach and management to recognize the subtle differences in our players and assemble a cohesive team that can win an AFCON.

Afful is weak, and can't play. He must sit! He can only play in Major League Soccer in the US. As far as international and competitive soccer like AFCON, he's below standard. He's done well for Ghana in time past but today, he must sit.
Acheampong, may be good somewhere like second division because of his height. He falls into deficit anytime a ball is in the air. When it comes to black Stars, his standard is below standard. There are better players in Ghana who deserve to play. He must sit.
Avram Grant is a pleaser. He's no coach at all. All the hoopla about Coach Avram Grant of Chelsea have all proven to be bogus. He must go.
Nyantakyi has been the Black Stars administrator for far too long. His ideas are not working for twenty years. He must go.
If we make changes to the national team, the Black Stars will shine again.

You see, this is what I don't get. Yes, changes are needed in the Black Stars. The question is who do we bring in that will give us the upgrade we seek. We would say we need Acheampong, Afful, Brimah, Jordan, Badu, Acquah, etc if they aren't in the team. A lot of people clamored for Partey, Tetteh and Tekpetey but the result was the same when they played. My point is that right now Ghana has average players, all of them, so the coaching and management is where we can have a big upgrade in order to make up for the weaknesses of the players.
