The sacking should not only end with police recruits. There are police and army personnel in uniforms who do not have their WASSCE passes. They were recruited based on how much they could pay. This is how the NDC looted the ...

This is how the NDC looted the state. NDC Executives were in this business. They take GHS5000 for recruitment in the army; GHS 4000 for recruitment in Police, Prisons and Fire Service; GHS 2500 for admission into Nurses and Teacher Training Colleges.

That may underscore the incompetence of the Mahama administration for not sacking those Kuffiour recruits knowing that they were unqualified to be enlisted into the force. I'm taking about the Ghana Police Service the service that is charged with enforcing peace and order, transparency, rule of law, accountability protections of the citizens rights and so on. And if even the recruitment process is comprised how do you expect the service to live up to its responsibilities. And I hope that you bunch of critics are aware of the fact a senior commissioner of the Ghana Police Service is facing charges of offering jobs in the service for money and who knows if he is a loner for that offense or other senior officers of the service are also part of a larger syndicate. Sometimes we as citizen should also weigh the effect of bad behavior instead of looking through the political lens. We don't want people who are crooks and robbers and gangsters to be enlisted in the department that is supposed to protect our safety, or Do we?

Not a particularly meaningful piece of journalism without some indication of how the 3k figure relates percentage wise to the overall number of applicants.

Can't help wondering if the hack involved didn't himself present false documentation with his own original job application!

If so, then why should the ministers be vetted. Lets all come together to build Ghana. Don't follow party. Lets follow the right thing. The Police has been doing this always.They check the results and sack the recruits with false results. They started this exercise on NDC government was in power. The new IGP has no hand in this.
