The NDC party must take drastic measures internally to save their party because at the rate things are going, if they allow that Asiedu Nketia guy and a few of his like-minded jokers continue to be the face of their party, their party is dead.
They need very drastic measures to save their party. And they can start with this raging story of some thieves in there who have stolen state assets and questioning the authority of the State and responsible citizens from retrieving such state assets.
They should line those members of their party who have engaged in the rape of Ghana and whip them, whip them like they never been whipped before and after invite the task force to come and collect those assets. After they should ask those members if they still want to be part of that their party. If yes, then under no circumstances should any act of thievery be associated with them going forward. If no, they should leave the party.
That is the only way that NDC party can save itself. They need to go to the basics. Because massive rot has occurred such as this story about Opuni and as the NPP continues to get a good grasp of what has happened these kind of stories will be a daily occurrence. Nothing at this point can save the NDC party apart from the hot rod working magic on the behind of their members. All pages of each contract must be examined, and let the lawyers determine if this was done properly. If these contracts were done improperly, then let the law take its course. Financial loss to the state, maybe? Buhari's trailblazing efforts will show Ghana the way, even in retrieving stolen money stashed abroad.

I believe, what the general public will be happy to hear, is that, those find culpable of duping the nation, are dragged to court without wasting time. The new govt should have the right to abrogate all hand picked contracts, which travel outside the Ghana procurement act. All public contracts should go through public tender process, which allow all candidates to bid contract on equal basis. Failed to publish the public projects on open tender process, should be deemed as a bleach of ghana procurement act. In my view, the contract should be void, cos proper procedures were denial.
