  Corruption has become a national epidemic so why would people in their right minds, especially high ranking police officers, not know that recruitment into the Police Department is not spared from this obnoxious practice? The question again is why didn't the Police Administration apply due diligence when they are very much aware that these recruitment exercises are always fraught with deceptive information and corruption? The Police Administration itself needs to be purged to rid it of criminal elements in their midst. It's mind boggling to think that they turned a blind eye to proper administrative procedures and allowed the applicants to begin the training program. Ghana will soon become a failed State if concrete measures are not immediately applied to cleanse the nation of its bad ways. A lot of people who will be affected will cry foul and say they're being victimized because of their political party or tribal affiliation or both but we must choose between saving an entire from imminent collapse and maintaining the status quo. The old crooked ways of doing government business must be buried for ever in the sands of time. Introducing innovations, modernization and more transparency will do the nation a world of good and we will save ourselves regrets and embarrassments and posterity will not have to judge our generations harshly.There's no more time for dilly dallying. The time to act is now!!!

This is done all over the world, if somebody submits a fake document you would not know immediately until background checks are done which takes time, so stop being ignorant.
