  JB Danquah is not a Ghanaian hero. Most Ghanaians will be hard pressed to name one contribution he made to Ghana.

  What we are seeing is a distortion of history and a deliberate disinformation campaign by his family members and a few party adherents.
  
  And by the way, who credits him with giving Ghana it's current name? Ghana was named by Kwame Nkrumah after he fought hard for our independence. During that period JB Danquah was busy convincing the British that we were not ready for independence. Now he's getting credit for naming the country he did not want to see independent ? !?
  
  These people must think that we are really stupid.
