  Very good ideas. Writer must however visit "railway stations" and network across the country to see the enormity of the task ahead. In certain areas mansions and other permanent structures are built a few meters from the tracks, which authorities would fear to demolish. If bold decisions can be taken, which seems impossible, then our dreams can be realized. Meanwhile let's keep on dreaming aloud with great write-ups which we applaud so much.

  Railway system will be the turning wheel for a sustainable development. It will enhance all kinds of transportation but we must be mindful of competence and accuracy. The best railway system is the German railways. If we want to have it, then we must go in for the best but not for a cheep and a set-back system that will give a stand-still every fortnight.

  Rail transportation have been shelved for far too long when we all know the huge benefit we can derive from it. For a long time the Accra - Kumasi line begging for reintroduction but government after government is afraid to take hold of what is to be done because of funding but can COCOBOD could award contract of over Gh¢512million in just about three months.

  Creating a railway ministry does not mean that railways will be constructed.
  
  The political will to prioritise railway construction and raise the necessary funds are paramount.
