NDC HAS MILKED GHANA DRY: NDC guys are crooks. The other time Dr Apaak, a presidential staffer under Mahama, came out to claim that an amount of $5.9M was rather the cost of the new Veep Mansion. Then NDC Deputy Minority leader, James Klutse Avedzi, also said the amount is $5.0M. Now the NDC General Secretary is saying the amount is $3.5M. It is only the NPP that has remained consistent with $13.9 so far. It appears the NDC is not saying the truth. They are doing this to defend Thief Mahama at all cost. However, pressure mounted on the NDC has forced Allotey Jacobs, the NDC chairman for Central Region to admit guilt. He stated on Peace Fm that the fresh document from Consar on the cost of the project brings finality to the controversy surrounding the cost, adding that contesting the cost is impossible.“With what has come from Consar Limited, it is difficult to defend this issue. They are on the job and what they have put out settles the controversy surrounding the cost of the project. If Consar themselves have put out this information, then what do I have to say…nothing.” IT IS ONLY THIEVES WHO WILL ALWAYS DEFEND THEIR FELLOW THIEF AT THE PERIL OF THEIR LIVES.

Using the Northern extraction as an excuse to stand her ground, exposes her ignorance and the intemperate person that she is. And this is all in defense of northerners?

Those insisting that one has to be a northerner to understand, should realize that nobody is shielded from being respectful of authority or the elderly. There are so many ways this woman could have criticized Mahama without saying he had the heart of a devil.

Every human being has a right to hold an opinion, whether the person is a man or woman.

If a person has an opinion on a subject, based on information everyone is privy to, and is convinced and believes that, that opinion is true, then it is no longer an opinion but a conviction.

So if a person has a conviction, and the person is honest to themselves, you will expect that person to be bold enough to stand by their conviction irrespective of pressures or potential for favour, if the information has not changed.

If a person is able to do that, then that is what can be referred to as an admirable trait - a firm, strong, and positive character worthy of emulation. Not a negative one at all.

Rather the tendency for people to do or say anything, in spite of their conviction (what they believe to be true), only because they want a favour, is what we should not be teaching our children.

Because a person who cannot stand by their conviction, is a person whose word you cannot trust. A spineless man.
