  Of course our Parliament is blameworthy. How long does it have to take our legislators to make a law to protect Ghanaian citizens against this marauding gang of Fulani herdsmen? I hope no one is attributing their gross inaction to what we call the" Ghanaian hospitality" for it's not. It's sheer foolishness! It's unpatriotic! No foreign nationals, be they Africans or not, can go to Chad or wherever they come from, behave so irresponsibly and expect to walk away in one piece. These marauding gangsters are destroying farmlands, have endangered the lives of Ghanaian citizens yet our lawmakers have turned a blind eye to this foolishness and sometimes have acted like collaborators. They can only live in Ghana if they're law abiding and peace loving.
  
  Laws are not made just for the sake of making laws but to protect life and property. To say that our lawmakers have been sleeping on the job is an understatement. They must be held responsible for the loss of lives and property, not forgetting the emotional trauma many citizens have had to endure.
