The Black Stars lost to Cameroon because Avram Grant strategy was very poor.The Cameroonians always played attacking game so they can get the desired goal at anytime.
Since 1982 after winning our 4th AFCON trophy when Cameroon haven't won even a single one.How come they have passed us today with 5 AFCON trophies?I'll not even talk about Egypt who was also trailing behind us.This should tell you that we need to change our style of play and go back to our roots,where attacking football was our best.There's nothing strange as to why we lost to Cameroon.You can't win AFCON with defensive game,you need to attack from all angles on the field.That means you don't have to count only on your 1 or 2 strikers upfront to score but count on all the players to make the difference.That's exactly what Cameroon did to beat Egypt in the grande final where a defender equalised and a striker knocked the Egyptian down.This is what GFA technical team have failed to understand over the years.I can tell you,if we continue playing defensive game,we can as well kiss the AFCON trophy good bye.Don't worry be happy.

We attacked cameroon all through. There was nothing defensive about our game and it has nothing g to do with why we lost. We lost because we weren't good enough period. The team with the best tactics and players beat us fair and square. We attacked cameroon and created more chances than them especially in the 2nd half but we couldn't score. They scored the first goal through a defensive blunder by the goalkeeper aND John boye and that's how we lost the game. We did not lose because of any ultra defensive strategy. Our players lack the winning meNtality that's why u see them miss so many chanxes. You can survive on missing chances against weak teams but you fall against teams like cameroon and Egypt if u don't take your chances

Now tell me,how did we concede the freekick?The pressure was on the Stars,that's the reason why they committed unnecesary fouls just outside the box.The same thing happened when we played against Egypt,Congo,Cameroon and Burkina Faso.Ofcourse,when you are under pressure or let's say under strong attack,you will be forced to commit avoidable mistakes.That's exactly what happened to the Black Stars so you can't say the Stars weren't good enough.I can tell you that the Black Stars was the most experienced side in the just end AFCON.Many of our players have played more than once in the World Cup and AFCON so what are you telling me?
This is why I'm saying that we don't play attacking game,by definition.Teams that play attacking game don't mess up many chances because they have lot of players who can score from different angles and by different opportunities.Tell me the last time the Black Stars scored with a freekick or corner.Didn't you see how Nkoulo,the Cameroonian defender equalised Egyptian goal with a header?Tell me the last time a Black Stars' defender scored with a header?That makes the difference between attacking game and a defensive one.You can disagree with me but the facts remain the same.Don't worry be happy.
