.1. NDC HAS MILKED GHANA DRY: NDC guys are crooks. The other time Dr Apaak, a presidential staffer under Mahama, came out to claim that an amount of $5.9M was rather the cost of the new Veep Mansion. Then NDC Deputy Minority ...

It is strange a past president of the Ghana Bar Association is saying "You are guilty until proven innocent". Sam Okudzeto is a disappointment.
Is this not the man speaking through his nose? What next?
Yes, thieves are guilty until proven innocent. When a police stops an NDC man driving missing V8 SUV, the police has every right to seize the and it is up to the owner to prove that he owns it. So yes, thieves are guilty unti ...

Are they rather supposed to prove that they own their cars? I thought it is the alleger who provides the proof? So I can also say you've stolen my car and the onus will lie on you to prove your innocence, right?
Thieves argue your way!!!
If i am the Police yes. you have to prove to the police you own the car if you are asked. The police might have the details, but they will like to know if you are the true owner or an impostor. This is what the police do in a ...

That is not a valid argument. If it is ur car you should have prove of ownership. That's is why the law states that possession is 9/10th of ownership. Right now the car is with the taskforce so he should go with prove of owne ...

What kind of stupid mentality is that. You are searching for your car you have proof to me the car is your property and not me. Who is supposed to proof what.
If you are the bonifide owner who bought it legally, it is easy to prove your ownership. Those who bought it through illegal means will argue contrary to Mr. Sam Okudzeto.
Sam Okudzeto did not sound like a lawyer in this case. He is been political. Where in his law books that the accuser is rather the one to prove ownership? Especially when the person already has a title to the vehicle.
I totally agree with you. To make a long story short, produce your papers on the vehicle if you are rightful owner when asked by law. If the Govt agency suspects, I am driving a govt vehicle they have the right to ask for doc ...

It is rather odd for an eminent lawyer like Mr Sam Okudzeto to state that those accused should prove that they own such vehicles. I thought that it is the duty of the accuser to prove guilt and not the other way round. Politi ...

This old fool is crazy. Useless npp old man. You as a seasoned lawyer, you know very well that the burden is on the government to prove its claim. Stupid old lawyer
Why is this man stupid like that? Always talking like an idiot from his noise in his stupid twang. Bloody scoundrel of a lawyer. Foolish man who makes no sense
Govt must provide evidence from DVLA that the vehicle in dispute belongs to the state. It looks like most of our people just have big names to throw about but know nothing.
Both ways work. If you accuse me stolen your car and I know the car is mine, I will just prove you wrong by providing the document. That's all .
What is the purpose of having documents on our properties. To prove ownership in case of any eventuality, this is one of them
It is as simple as that!!It i's mine--and these are the documents to prove it --is it something to hard
Respect the rules---if your vehicle is taken unjustifiably -go to court to prove your ownership and claim compensation f ...
