  Mr. Amidu's decision to withdraw from the Woyome case and his reason for doing so is a palpable one. I believe he would not have withdrawn from the case had NDC won the election.

  Mr. Amidu's decision to withdraw from the Woyome case and his reason for doing so is a palpable one. I believe he would not have withdrawn from the case had NDC won the election.
  
  Now there is a new administration which aims to fight corruption in government and it would be insidious on the part of Martin Amidu to proceed with the work that the AG of the new administration has vowed to pursue. Besides, there is cost involved in pursuing the case and if the state is willing to bear the cost, why should Martin Amidu bother.
