Bunkrugu Yoyoo, Bawku, Yendi, Bimbilla, Alavanyo/ Nkonya etc are hot spots that have seen clashes before and during NDC n NPP era's. Stop this vindictive and cheap propaganda.

  I repeat not true but even if it were to be true, a guarded tongue is critical in what is clearly a very sensitive period

  The interior Minister is out to lunch and probably clueless with this statement. Law and order are always the prerogative of every democratic government and this minister cannot defer responsibility to the chieftancy institution. Besides, the useless chieftancy institution and all other institutions in the country fall within the ambit of government and therefore it is utmost outlandish for the minister to proposition we should leave government out of this.
  
  This is another false start by Akufo-Addo administration. I wish him well though!

Lord have Mercy!!!! It is the responsibility of the government to maintain law and order, and above all protect the citizens of this country. Who is this Minister and his follows who supports him for making such irresponsible comments? You are not the cause, so you should stay aloof for people to be Killed???? Interior minister indeed??? Are you going to say, government is not the cause of armed robbery so you should let loose arm robbers to terrorise people without doing nothing about. I can foresee Ghana going down the drain!!!!!

  It is unconscionable. How can a government claim it will not meddle in chieftaincy dispute, then I'm wondering has the mandate to effect arrest and prosecute the culprits?

  Government cannot be left out in these matters. She cannot shirk her responsibility of maitaining the peace and order it inherited from the previous administration. I think the President should have appointed non northerners as ministers in the ministries of interior and defence, since they always try to take advantage over their opponents while in government.
