We all work in the Public Service, The General Director Administration should have reported to either CHRAJ or EOCO. The PSC could not have halted the process on the basis of the Petition. Procedurally he ougth have reported to the Board and not PSC. PSC should have also written to the Board of NSS or to the Minister.

Some of this guys reported and were given assumption letters. So what are you going to do with these people. Please, when you read the Labour Act you won't succeed with your argument at all. Those who were recruited did not flout any rule or Law hence cannot be punish for some body's indiscretion. The Positions were duly Advertised in the Dailies. Applicants went through rigorous recruitment process and were given letters which is a contract document. At that point contract has been established and cannot be withdrawn just like that. They must be compensated even if they accept to hand over the letters. NSS has no case should they revert to the Law Court.

Even if it is the case that due procedure was not followed,should the innocent young Ghanaians be made to suffer for the irregularities of a recruitment process.For God sake,the vacancies were advertised,some people got shortlisted and subsequently went for interview.this is due procedure for God sake.what else should have constituted a due procedure.this is why we are where we are today in this country.we pay politics with everything.the dreams and aspirations of these young Ghanaians (205) should have been given a second thought before taken any action.where is the civil society and all the human rights institutions in this country,is this the country we are building for ourselves.a country that young people are dreams are traded with for the ego of some self-seeking politicians of public servant.A country where our young people would remain vulnerable to the powerful in our society. A country where where due procedure is subject to the discretion of the powerful and influential in society.a country where the the fulfillment of the flight and dreams of young people in considered as an option but not a shared responsibility of all.can we be free to try the new business idea?,do we have a father of all in this country? From what I have read.. And the investigation I have conducted, Those Sacked Nss Staff were Legally Recruited and can never be punished on the crime they have not committed (that's if even if there is any)...

So they should quickly go to court to seek redress....

3. A detailed follow up of call and subsequently Email Message detailing The Day, Date, Time, venue and requirements of the Interview

4. After going through series of tests on the early morning of the day of Interview then subsequently his/her interview, he/she was called and congratulated that he/she successful in the interview so you are considered for the position hence appointment letter given..

Only for a new government to come and tell you due process was not followed so go home.......

My Question: WHAT PROCESSES MUST HE / SHE HAVE GONE THROUGH BEFORE MAKING IT LEGAL???

I bet most of them may not have the requisite qualification for those positions which would necessiate the same outcome. Here you can even sack and prosecute them as well if anyone if found with fake qualifications. Sometimes we should use our heads instead of rushing things. Those who create conditions for judgement debts should be also prosecuted for causing financial loss to the state.

Issues to look at: 1. Some staff were sacked in 2014. Why wait till 2016 to appoint? 2. It is not the practice to recruit through private agencies. Why this time? 3. Did they publish the request for agency services advertised? How were the three selected and Zomelo warn? I understand the quotations were 100000, 200000 and 300000! Who owns Zomelo anyway? 4. Were there equally qualified personnel already in the service who applied but were disqualified ? 5. Can NSS publish the names of all the 205 for the public to make its own analysis? 6. It sounds to me like the outgoing NSS boss was fulfilling his quota of engaging party boys before departing. I am sure he woke up one day and realized the possibility of his party loosing power and thus started to move the process of engaging party boys. The good thing is the courts are there!
