Dr. Kwame Nkrumah created the atomic energy commission to do research with the aim of finding alternative energy for electrical power besides hydro-electricity. In the 1960's there were only few developed countries that had nuclear power plants. This man ahead of his time created this with help from scientist from the then Soviet Union. What happened after the imperialist overthrew him, all his plans were abandoned together with so many of his seven year development plans. I can name a whole lot. After 60 years we still have "dumsor" with so many technologies to create electrical power. The land of Kwabenya has been distributed to political party faithful's. What a country. The atomic energy commission is of no use to the social-economic development of the country in this 21st century.

Since Ghana Atomic Commission and ECG are both state owned enterpises the socialist economic planning theories of intersectoral dependencies must be applied. Ghana Atomic Commission a body in waiting to run a bigger nuclear reactor for electricity production cannot ECG any money. The transition to pure market economy is not complete. This attempt to embarass Akufo-Addo would not be tolerated. Akufo-Addo must sack all his detractors -- Just like what took place under his father and Busia's leadership.

In 2017 GAEC needs government to pay it's electric bills. Within all these years they should catalogue their "developed" research because you can't be piling up research papers and debt forever.

The thing is a monumental failure.
The director general talking about seedlings for farmers.
They should leave us to "think our thinking."

Those so-called professors are bleeding successive governments dry; and I side with Mahama for not paying the electric bill.
