Ghanaians are weak if it comes about foreign nationals. Especially our women. And the politicians like NDC and CPP they welcome foreign nationals. From Kwame Nkrumah, Gen, I K Achampong, Dr Liman , JJ Rawlings, Prof, J A Mills and John Mahama. This are the people who has allowed Foreign Nationals use Ghana as their back yard.

The ID card MUST be 1st class biometric... excellent and must be in central database across the country and every department can retrieve information anywhere about all Ghanaians. All embassies abroad MUST be able to retrive information anywhere across the globe.
Besides, create biometric and microchipped household register ( a booklet just like passport ) for every family across the country and every family MUST have members registered in the household register and must be in central database across the entire world retrivable.

You must have an impeccable record to be confident of putting your name on a bio data.

I don't worry for myself but I worry for the many Ghanaians who through no fault of theirs have to force through economic barriers and borders to make earns meet.

This is excellent and a laudable idea, go ahead and do it I fully support that. This in itself is a job creation venture. I know a lot of jobs will be created in view of this.

Can I please also add this to that:
Postal Addresses should also be included in the project where every house could have a postal address in the house as UK do and not at the post office. And bring back all the post office jobs so the youth will get jobs to do. This will generate more money for the government i.e Documents like Passports could be applied through the post, Driving License, National ID Cards, Schools admission applications etc.
This will also reduce Traffic congestions in the Cities because less people will be travelling if they could do some of these things through online and the mail post.

Can I again plead with you to look at those who do jobs that seem "unnoticed", like cleaners in the restaurants, Hotels, "Chop Bars" ice water sellers etc to register for labour cards so they could contribute towards their Pensions by paying a little sum of money and the government will add something to it as their National Insurance/Pensions Contributions.
Please encourage them to open a Bank Account and if in the future they want to expand their business the Bank can lend them money or the government could help in such a way.
I believe you have noticed what I am trying to put across.
Please consider that sector.

That should be basis rather than always seeking to issue ID cards that expire after a couple of years. As a country with limited resources we should better learn to utilise our resources. The quality of cards is unimportant as the systems that enable an authentication of a person's biometric details using the unique ID number.
