Those who are doubting are acting like "misers" who want the money to be kept there so they would have something to "chop-chop" when they come to power again - I can't tell when, though. What is more "heritage" than to educate our future leaders who would manage our resources in future? If they remain “uneducated” as our forefathers, the so-called colonial powers would continue to cheat us with the "hi-tech" knowledge of their children, and they would take away the fund in a very cunning way that would beat our “uneducated” children to it in future. It is better to equip them so they would acquire the capacity not only to protect our resources with superior intellectual capabilities, but to be able to access their fair share of the wealth of the world that we are all creating. A simple example to illustrate: Imagine what would happen to the wealth you are acquiring “left and right’’ when you pass on without educating your children! Is that what they are calling for? No way, Nana Addo will succumb to this hypocrisy!

I had to work as a labourer to save and go to commercial school. What did Ghana give me? My father a cocoa farmer who had contributed to GDP of Ghana by his cocoa produce from 1923 to about 1965 had lost his farms to the savannah and desert
Did Ghana care about me? No , but those who benefitted, the influential in society, politicians,public servants..... all those that have been to secondary and universities from 1967 to 2017 and all the position they have occupied which I was never offered.
Today they say Free Education is not feasible and I call upon heaven and earth to deal with them all. I could have been Professor in any field so I pray that God bless this government to carry through with the free education agenda and let the selfish continue to live in the bush of their brains.

Kweku Baako sounds authoritative in his utterances about the free SHS now because NPP, in government, has stated unequivocally, with authority, that funds for the free SHS project will come from the heritage accounts. NPP could not state where the money to support their free SHS would come from when it was introduced, and they could not state same in their manifesto because they were in opposition. Mahama could not suggest using the heritage funds for his free SHS program and Dr Nduom couldn't dare to say that either, because NPP would have broken the sky open with strong opposition. Kweku Baako knew it then so he could not talk like he is talking now when the free SHS was being critiqued.
I support Nana's plans to using the heritage funds for the free SHS project, but I pray that there should be no attachments and diversion of funds for other usage. What I didn't like is the dirty politics which do not progress, but keep the nation lacking.
