They have even said it openly that,they will do everything for the failure of the NPP government.
So they will twist and misquote every statement coming from the government.
I hope all Nana's appointees will be focused like Nana,and concentrate on their jobs to make Ghana a better place.
Nana is so focused that,NDC has been insulting him since 2008 till date,but I haven't heard Nana cough of a bad word about them.The man is serious to make Ghana work again.
NDC can continue with their insults,and Nana will continue the work Ghanaians chose him to do.
So Napo,please be focused and pretend NDC isn't there,because they will continue making noise till next,when it will hit them that,they are in opposition.
Now most of them still think they are in government.
But that is normal,they are still in a state of shock.

We don't want everyone to be talking differently on the same issues as it has just started with what should be used for the FREE EDUCATION.
Nana shouldn't be mute anymore now that he is our president. He has to put his feet down and never, however come up with flimsy interventions.
As for the NDC, I can't see them coming back in the next decade or more unless NPP fails the nation but a horror film like the one we saw with the NDC cannot be repeated by anyone who have their heads properly balanced on their shoulders.

To my understanding, it does not take only the teacher to educate a child, the child's family also counts. However, the education situation of Ghana, has deteriorated, due to bad teachers. Apart from the fact that many of the teachers are not qualified enough to teach in Ghanaian schools, most of them are teaching part time and collecting full scale teachers' salaries. Most of them are farmers, and others have different businesses. They go to school about 2x during the week. This is due to the fact that there are either, no supervision in the schools' districts, or no money to pay to supervise teachers. Some of these teachers must go, to make room for college graduates to take over. It is only in Ghana that you find SHS graduates teaching in primary schools, whiles the college educated are virtually, unemployed. Non performing teachers must go. Please phase them out. Ghanaian teachers must better work with the PTA's to find common strategies to better serve in our educational establishments, rather than extorting monies from the PTA's for their selfish interest.

The noise from the teacher unions shows that they do not care about the job they do. They only consider their job as a means of collecting their salaries. If they were concerned about the future of pupils that pass under them, as well as the future of generations to come, they would have found Napo's comment as a challenge to them to bring out their best for the country's future!

The performance of our students should be used to set targets for our head of school in that way they will do their job to make sure students learn by superintending over their teachers to do real teaching.

Teachers must also be given targets as well and that will bring in performance dialogue(PD) that will determine their faith and promotions.

So don't we know that if a whole 90? of students fail exams it's a sign that among other factors, teachers and headmasters in such schools are doing their work poorly? This policy would have awaken all those lazy headmasters whose schools woefully fail in final exams. Because NDCs don't think far I presume it's their members in the teachers union who are seeking the reversal of this problem-solving idea. I entreat all parents to support this idea, because it's going help us not waste our precious monies in the long run.
