The reason why gh economy and development has dwindled is becos we don't invest in ourselves, our economy and in our development, u canchange your mindset all u want but if you continue to not invest, continue to pillage ur resources, u don't use ur revenues to invest in the country but engage in create, loot and share, corruption, don't provide financial incentives for needy and exceptional students, don't invest in infrastructure etc. Then nothing will change. Last I checked these Anglo Saxon nations still wear kilts during their ceremonies. Go to eastern Europe, India, asia they all maintain their cultures and traditions. The difference between them and us is investment. They invest in their infrastructure, schools, science, technology and mathematics, Invest in africa, their stadiums etc. We don't. The leaders steal from the public purse and invest it in a foreign nation. The money is then taken and invested by the foreign nation to grow their economy. U Otabil how many investments do u create with all the collection amd tithe money? Any high schools or daycare? Any apartment buildings? Any banks? Any markets or public toilets? Any gyms or restaurants? How have u created jobs for ghanaians with ur influence and wealth? U don't even pay taxes....show us ur tax returns

That not withstanding, Mensa Otabil must not be believed by even his own congregation.. but of course they are all vulnerable, have no mind of their own, believe in the so called men of God . So many people have lost their identities as children of God, believing and enriching individuals of dubious and dangerous characters as Otabil.

Otabil and his likes cannot avert death which is the ultimate after birth, they cannot stop diseases of this world that are either curable or terminal. They can only pray on your dead body when you exit this world, BUT who cuts your oxygen off ? GOD, who breathes into us when we are awake each morning God, but most importantly whose and pilgrimage mission are we here on earth for ? Otabils or Gods ? It is time we look seriously within ourselves, it is time we have a one on one with God when we are awake from the very first breath each morning.

Simply put, we don't need the Otabils and related pastors in this present word we live in. What we need is ourselves, our God, our love for the Christ and most importantly how we communicate. For each and everyone of us is endowed, each and everyone has our gifts from God and its only when we stop, look and listen that we find our way. SHALOM

He mentioned two types of obtackes; the one unseen/unplanned & seen/planned. And be said with the unseen obstacles you cannot change it so then do not complain but find out how you can go about it, instead of wasting time to complain. Even if you still want to divert it into politics, then he rather spoke in favour of NDC. Cos he clearly said during the high increase in the dollar, you as an individual go not on your own change it. So why do you complain instead of creating a way to go about your business. If we want to be part of a fast growing and change prone world then we must quickly make up our minds. The culture we're so proud of is our nemesis. Every continent and its people are quickly adapting to a fast changing world except Africa. The Asians are just as very proud of their culture as Africans but it isn't standing in the way of national development. Clearly, these.negative comments are coming from NDC supporters who have not recovered from the shocking and painful loss in the recent elections. They digg into what cannot be dug and find intents outside the speaker's clearly communicated intentions for every speech one makes. Then they personalize it. Then the negative comments starts. This is what was happening with some FM stations.They thought were anti-NYC stations. And it led to their downfall. When he speaks, it worries them. Your negative comments do not worry him.
