Kids.will always respond to incentives. If Kofi or ama sees that kojo and abena are enjoying free scholarship, free food, free.car, free room and board, free vacation to oxford, Harvard, mit, McGill etc simply bcos kojo and abena did well as math, technology and science students. Then that alone is motivation for them to also pursue these subjects bcos they too will enjoy. But in gh these so called headers and elders don't give a damn about the future. They will use the monies for girlfriends and enjoyment,.frivolous spending..no investment in the future so what do u expect to reap from what you haven't sown? Soon ghana will be bringing in foreigners to run mathematical, technology and science in ghana becos we failed to plant and invest in our youths. Look at gfa. Always looking for foreign born ghanaians players, foreign coaches. Do we have monkeys in gh?

Most of your best Mathematics and Science teachers are in South Africa. It gonna take years for it to stop unless there is a mechanism(good remuneration) in place to deter the teachers from going to SA.

We can volunteer some time to help. The problem with Maths and Science is Ghana has fallen behind other nations. The teachers do not have the skills, they do not have the tools to deliver in addition.Any person who can handle these subjects will stay in Ghana with all the nonsense going on. Maths and science graduates are in demand all over the world. The easiest way out of this is to organise with the population outside Ghana. Plead for personal time for people to come and volunteer time, books, equipments etc. while the government invests in Math and Science teacher training.
