Obiri Boahene who are you to demand police report on investigations conducted and concluded on the siezed cars and what evidence did the rogues who invaded Kofi Adams house have, to have compeled the police CID to invite them for cross examinations, do they have facts stronger than that exist at the DVLA and Transport Ministry, Ghana Customs, Ghana Revenue Authority and Records at the Ports of entry. When has the police assumed the roles of the courts; to be consulting people before doing their legitimate duty.? Interesting times indeed now that NPP has assumed power that, peoples' properties could be siezed by hoodlums of NPP at the instances of instructions from the Flag Staff House without recourse to fairness of individual rights of citizens and in contravention of the laws. Obiri Boahene should not divert attentions away from the court suit awaiting him on his senseless vituberations on Kofi Adams. Petitions to the IGP will not provide you any cover from appearing in court to answer questions on your careless talks.

The issue at stake is a serious security threat that needs to be address with a serious approach, how can one person seek to possess five land cruisers, the book value of that car is in the neighborhood of about $80,000 apiece so now if a 100 of these cars can not be accounted for, look at the amount of money involved. Now you hear the criminal NDC operatives treating this as just a hoax and creating perceptions that the new administration seeks to make a big deal out of nothing. Whilst the new administration seeks to balance its first budget with the kind of the anemic economic situation left by the looting gangs, l don't think the new administration has that much resources to import new fleet of cars to do their work. Also in a country where some vital programs like the national health insurance is in such bad shape the priorities shouldn't be given to logistics if we have something to keep us going for the mean time. So l guess the NDC guys perception that the government will just forget about this as just a status quo is a wishful thinking.

I mean if you know what I mean. Ever since ex president Kuffuor's name was mentioned in the Panama offshore account saga, the same redeemers of souls who are going round unlawfully confiscating stolen government properties are tight lipped over the issue. We are all aware of the tribal politics which is ongoing in our country and therefore people must think before they speak against others when their own cupboards are full of skeletons. I don't really understand what Stephen Donkor mean when he talk about threat to security. Millions of dollars secretly kept in offshore account is more dangerous to our ailing economic than a Toyota land cruiser. You cannot cover your dirty ass and expose another man,s smelly mouth.
