Well, Mr. Amish Arthur, if what you heard sounded hollow to you then go check your brains. You didn't have much of it when you were Vice President, and the little you had appears to have deserted you now. What did you expect to hear from a President who was inaugurated less than two months ago and is in the process of selecting the members of his government? What Ghanaians expected of this young Government was an honest account of the nature of the economy it inherited from your incompetent administration and how he proposes dealing with the serious challenges you left behind. President Akufo Addo did exactly that in a better way than any of our post Nkrumah Presidents ever did. Your problem is obviously his exposure of the serious lapses and challenges in the economy you and Mahama left behind. Too bad for you. Every truth about your incompetent handling of the economy will continue to be exposed, and those of you who mercilessly looted our coffers will be dealt with. I am of the view that anyone who has stolen state money must be brought to book but it should be done through the right channels. Though personally I don't think it is fair to the people who have been deprived of so much by these thieves to be walking around making silly comments day in and day out. A government that would quickly pay for a V8 and refuse to buy oxygen to save a life, pay for the services provided for the school feeding program, dig bore holes for the poor people, neglect the agricultural sector, bring almost every sector of the economy down and still have a nerve to talk. What care did they have for our youth by completely ignoring the degradation of our water tables by illegal miners and the painful side by foreigners just to line their pockets. We are treating these thieves with kiddy gloves, let the existing arms of the law deal with the culprits so that they understand that running a country does not give you a license to loot it. It is no secret what has gone on in the past administration and yes I strongly stand behind the president for pointing out these facts to us. It is impossible to sweep such insensitivity under the carpet. I like the can do spirit of our president but to fix something is to find the source of what went wrong and to hammer home hard solutions to such a small group of leeches who intentionally brought our proud nation to its knees. Look at their faces in Parliament today accusing someone giving them bribe just to equalize what is said on the campaign trail. If NPP were to equalize the silly things said by NDC where will they stand? These are people who have no patriotism what so ever. Ghanaians must punish them by keeping them in the opposition for a very long time. My blood boils when I hear them speaking. The painful side is they still don't understand why they are in the opposition today. Let us join the President to bring prosperity to our people through hard work and planning. Those who have information on crimes committed by the past government should come out and testify and the security should assure such people of their protection.
