This is interesting revelation. Could someone confirm what happened to the National Security Operatives under Ex-President Kuffour’s government when the NDC took over in 2009? The then National Security Co-ordinator Lt. Col. Gbovolo Lartey Larry (rtd) sacked all of them. The letters confirming the dismissal of those operatives as captured “I am directed to inform you that your services are no longer required.” Is there any degree of significance between the actions the NDC government took in sacking all National Security Operatives under Kuffour’s regime and what the current NPP government is doing now? Could someone explain why the NDC government under Mahama decided to recruit employees between 9 December 2016 and 6 January 2017? Why that immediate action? People were seriously looking for jobs for survival under Mahama’s administration so why that last minutes recruitment when new government had been voted into power awaiting swearing in to take over. We must learn to be objective in our doings. Let us be serious for once.

1) Ghanaians needed the lesson to finally realise NDC as a party was and is never a party for Ghana.

2) The other is because things were so bad people prayed a lot. For this I thank God and those are the only two positives I can see.

My prayer is Ghanaians will not be too quick to ever go back to them. I mean look at it whenever Mahama came to London no one even heard about it but yet let Nana come to London and the Ghanaian community will not want to let him go. There are born leaders and then those who force their way into it and that was what Mahama did force his way into where he was not supposed to be.

These include Bui Dam, VRA, ECG, Ghana Police service, Accountant-General, Ghana Revenue Authority, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Ghana National Gas Company, The Cabinet Secretary, National Service scheme, National Health Insurance Authority, Chief of Defence Staff and the board members of these public bodies.

There is also the threat to sack perceived NDC sympathisers in public service in revenge for supposed maltreatment of NPP sympathisers in public service by the previous admin.

This victimisation and naked politicisation of public appointments should stop!!
